Telecentre Europe is an European NGO and a member based association established in 2010. Telecentre Europe represents publicly funded telecentres and networks, ICT learning centres, adult education centres and libraries across Europe with its mission to raise awareness about training people in basic and advanced digital skills and to influence decision makers in the field.
The Fondazione Mondo Digitale (FMD) works for an inclusive knowledge society by blending innovation, education, inclusion and fundamental values. The FMD is based in Rome and implements its projects at local, national and international levels.
IAN is a local NGO active since 1997 in the field of empowerment of disadvantaged groups in Serbia (refugees, disabled persons, unemployed, victims of violence, Roma, etc). Its Education Department – IAN Telecentar – works for increasing IT literacy among the population in Serbia.
Cities on the Internet Association (COI) is an expert NGO established in 1998. COI’s mission is the support of Information Society development at regional level – task realized through a range of regional e-development programming support projects and accompanying research projects.
FRSI disseminates modern ICTs, strives to make it easier for the residents of small towns to gain access to information, knowledge, culture and education and inspires and encourages joint activity. The key project carried out by FRSI is the six-year (2009-2015) Library Development Program.
EOS Romania is a private, non-profit organization established in 1998. The main goal of EOS Romania is to facilitate open society and sustainable development in Romania by enabling members of communities to acquire social and economic entrepreneurial abilities through the application of ICT.
Langas į ateitį (LIA) is a Lithuanian non-profit initiative launched in 2002 by socially responsible private business companies. The organisation promotes the use of internet, encouraging society to safely use ICT and in this way stimulating the growth of the living standard of Lithuanian citizens for successful implementation of ICT training projects.
The Albanian Institute of Science (AIS) is an organization where social and professional activists of different fields work to put innovation and new information technologies in the benefit of the community and development policy. AIS activities aim to create spaces of communication and civic information.
Teb Youth Association (TEB) works in fields related to community networks and technology. Teb manages one of the first telecenters in Spain, and led to the birth of the 1st telecentre network in Catalonia, in 1999. They currently work for the government in the coordination and advice of the 750 centers (network PuntTIC.cat) and its e-inclusion telecenters (Xarxa-Omnia.org).
ICT Telecentre-Danmark is an NGO that operates as support to ICT centre especially with focus on the elderly population. However there is no age restiction and all age groups can be members of Telecentre-Danmark. Telecentre-Danmark is conducting various projects connented to ICT centre.
LIKTA is a non-governmental professional organisation, encompassing the ICT industry and ICT professionals, whose principal objective is to promote and further develop Information Society in Latvia.
The goal of the Stiftung Digitale Chancen (Digital Opportunities Foundation) is to make people interested in the Internet and to support them with their steps into the digital world. We want them to become aware of the opportunities this digital medium offers and to make use of them.
Smart Work Association of Estonia’s mission is to promote smart work in Estonia. Their fields of activity are training and consultation to employers and employees, supporting and organising a network of telework/smart work centres and promotion of flexible work forms.
